The best VPN for Australian Netflix!

Based on frequent testing, I can clearly say that there is ONE winner in this competition and that is Surfshark VPN. This is the only VPN provider that actually works very well and all the time with Australian Netflix.

Other VPN providers that might work with Australian Netflix
I have earlier been able to access Australian Netflix with both ExpressVPN and with PureVPN. According to the PureVPN website, you should also be able to watch Australian Netflix with their VPN application, but during my test earlier today, I wasn’t able to get it to work. I have been able to use PureVPN a few months ago, but once again, during my recent tests, it didn’t work.
Just like with PureVPN, I have also been able to stream content on Netflix Australia with ExpressVPN. But, that doesn’t seem to be very stable either, because I often get the proxy and unblocker error as well. You should, however, know that if your goal is just as much to watch 9Now and 10Play in Australia as watching Netflix Australia, then you might want to consider ExpressVPN. After all, they seem to be the only VPN provider on the market working well with both 10Play and 9Now.
What about the rest of the VPN providers?
Unfortunately, the VPN providers we haven’t mentioned yet doesn’t work at all with Netflix in Australia. If you connect to a server in Australia and try to stream the content, you will only get the proxy and unblocker error message, and you will not be able to stream any of the content. It is important to know that you will get to see the actual content on Netflix Australia. That might look promising at first, but in the moment you try to stream any actual TV series or movies, you will get the error message instead.
NordVPN is a very good VPN provider with Netflix, and it will give you access to several Netflix countries like the United States, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Japan, and some more. But, it will not help you get access to Australian Netflix, so if that is your goal, you can forget about NordVPN, even if it is a good provider.
What kind of content is worth streaming on Netflix Australia?
You have most likely discovered it already that the content differs from country to country. A movie that you can stream on Netflix in Canada might not be on Netflix in Australia, and a show that you can stream on Netflix in the UK, might not be on Netflix in Australia. But, there are also hundreds of examples of content that you can find on Netflix in Australia that you cannot find in European countries, in the United States, or elsewhere.
A lot of such content is Australian content, but there have also been several occasions in which famous Hollywood movies were made available on Netflix in Australia months before they ever got to the European Netflix regions or to the United States/Canada.
